Alcatraz
Two U.S. Navy SEALs operatives land on Alcatraz Island, former site of the famous prison, to bring down Miguel Tardiez, a notorious drugs trafficker and warlord who is now based there. Alcatraz has been taken over by him and turned it into his base of operations for his drugs cartel, gun running and money laundering operations. The two operatives, Bird and Fist, must make their way from one end of the island to the other, destroying drug caches, before finally apprehending or eliminating Tardiez, then making their escape via the awaiting helicopter, all within 2 hours upon reaching their intrusion point.

Alcatraz is an action shoot ’em up video game created by 221B Software Developments and published by Infogrames. It was released for MS-DOS, Atari ST and Amiga in 1992, as a spiritual sequel to Infogrames’ 1988 game Hostages. Play Alcatraz online!
Alcatraz game description
A drug baron took over Alcatraz prison and now the player takes the role of an U.S. Navy Seal to break in and neutralize him. He has two hours to complete his objectives in three buildings and needs to survive two different playing styles: side-scrolling fighting on the streets and first-person shooting inside.
Outside, the goal is to reach the building in which the objectives have to be completed. Of course the baron’s thugs are not too pleased and try to kill the hero – so he has to shoot back with a many different weapons, e.g. flamethrowers, machine guns, bombs, and other destructive or close combat weapons, which can be collected from dead enemies. Similarly to Hostage: Rescue Mission, he can also hide in the background in certain spots.
The game takes place over a number of levels, which changes its perspective to adjust to the corresponding mission, i.e.: inside buildings to find drugs, money and weapon caches, the viewpoint adjusts to first person mode, whilst many levels adopt the familiar side-scrolling perspective in which the commandos may hide in shadows from the enemies. This also allows the player to change his weapons, which you pick up from the enemies you dispatch.
Once inside a building, the game switches to a first-person view, in which the player has to navigate a maze to reach his goal, e.g. recovering evidence. To his disposal are a radar and a rifle.
