Originally released in 1993, this historical combat simulation deals with the wars of Napoleon after his return from exile in Elba in 1815. Play Fields of Glory online!
The game is close to historical facts and therefore can be recommended to provide good information about this period of European history.
Take control of either France or Britain and see if you can avert Napoleon’s defeat at the famed battle of Waterloo. Although the AI is nothing to write home about, the game includes a comprehensive database of Napoleonic war that’s worth a look, plus some interesting scenarios.
